These dashboards provide information about how districts and schools in Massachusetts implemented student learning time (SLT) requirements for students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) conducted a statewide survey about the number of hours students spend learning in person, remote synchronously, and remote asynchronously. This information was requested for students in grades 1, 4, 7, and 10 from all public school districts, including charter districts. The survey was administered twice, resulting in two similar dashboards: first in November 2020, and then again in February 2021.
